Ingrid Halland (b. 1988) is associate professor in aesthetics and culture at Aarhus University and associate professor II in art history at The University of Bergen. Her work is published in Log, Journal of Design History, Architectural Histories, Aggregate and INSERT. The book Ung Uro: Unsettling Climates in Nordic Art, Architecture & Design was published in 2021.

Line Ramstad is director and chief curator of the Oslo Architecture Triennale. She is a landscape architect with additional education in structural engineering, geography, anthropology and environmental studies and has worked with sustainable architecture as a tool for local development, among others in Thailand and Burma as founder of the organization Gyaw Gyaw. Line Ramstad was a Loeb Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Design from 2023–24 and is leading the ninth edition of the Oslo Architecture Triennale, opening on September 17, 2026, with the title “What if nature comes first?”.

Andreas Ervik (b. 1987) is a Norwegian artist-academic, with a PhD from the Department of Media and Communication, University of Oslo. In research and practice, Ervik is invested in ecologies, online and offline. His artworks are multimodal, including audiovisuals and websites as well as installations, workshops and brand-building. His first book, Becoming Human Amid Diversions, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2022. It has been described as "an inventive and sometimes mischievous media theory that embraces ecology, artifice and delight to propose an art of living with the internet as we know today".

Thomas Cook works as Head of Development at the Oslo Architecture Triennale and Assistant Professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design. He has previously worked with urban spaces for the Agency for City Environment in Oslo, as an advisor for the City Architect in Bergen, and is co-founder and former owner of the neighbourhood café Nobel Bopel. Thomas is a freelance writer, and regularly writes about architecture, urban development and urban culture. He has a master's degree in Architecture History and a bachelor's degree in Social Geography from the University of Bergen as well as a master's degree in Urbanism from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design.

Armelle Breuil (b. 1992) is an architect, climate activist and permacultrice. She founded in 2021 her office ACT! from a need to design alternative ways of living. The studio draws small-scale architecture, works with refurbishment and uses permaculture at a method. She is a co-founder of Architects Climate Action Network Norway (ACAN) and the current chair of the board. Her practice allies architecture, activism and dissemination of both, as she believes it's about time to transform the construction sector. In 2021, she was part of the project "Safe Space" produced by ROM of Kunst og Arkitektur which led her to create workshops for kids and since 2024 to be in charge of ROM Ung.

Andrea Pinochet is an architect, engineer and educator whose work explores the intersections of material technology, ecology, and restoration practice. She is Associate Professor at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Her work moves between research, teaching, writing and her design practice, +groma arkitekter, where she focuses on exhibition design and transformation. Across these contexts, she explores how material innovation can inform building culture and restoration practices.

Karen Pinkus is a writer and critic based in New York City. She has written and taught on a wide variety of topics, from Italian culture and cinema to climate change and the humanities. Former editor of the critical theory journal, Diacritics, she is currently a fellow with Material Ecologies of Design (CAS, Oslo).

Nick Walkley is an architectural historian, researcher, and curator with a PhD and research affiliation with the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (2025). His research interests include medieval architecture and its reception, museum exhibitions and museology, intangible cultural heritage, and intersections between traditional crafts and digital technologies and his publications include articles for Metode and Journal of the British Archaeological Association. Walkely’s research builds on diverse professional experience spanning architecture, architectural visualisation, and performance. He has also worked as a musician and educator with classical music ensembles in Norway and the UK.

Björn Nilsson is Head of Department of Cultural History at the University Museum of Bergen, University of Bergen (UiB). He is a trained archaeologist and received his PhD in 2003 with a dissertation on archaeology as an essayistic environmental science. Before moving to Bergen in 2021, he was a researcher at Lund University, where he investigated the long-term relationship between humans and the sea, primarily through maritime archaeological studies of submerged Stone Age sites in the Baltic Sea. Nilsson also has experience in artistic research. Together with architects and artists, he was part of a larger research project that explored perspectives on photography in architecture.

Karoline Kjesrud is curator of the Medieval Art Collection at the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo and a researcher in medieval studies and long-lasting cultural practices. She is particularly concerned about understanding how human mind and practice constantly evolves around fundamental aspects, such as nature, religion and science in historical and contemporary art, craftsmanship, human-animal interactions and farming.

Hanne Hammer Stien (b. 1977) is professor of art history at the Academy of Art, UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. Her field of study is Northern art and visual culture. Among her latest articles are "Drawing Sovereignty: The Museum Work of Sámi Artist Ánddir Ivvár Ivvár/Iver Jåks" (Critical Arts, 2025) and "Dealing with Nordic Colonialism: Agency and Othering in Two Art Projects Invoking Living Ethnographic Displays" (Third Text, 2024), coauthored with Cathrine Baglo. Stien is member of the research board of Arts and Culture Norway, the art committee for the new governmental quarter in Oslo, and assistant editor of Curator: The Museum Journal. She is co-heading the research group Worlding Northern Art (WONA) and participating in the research project Urban Transformation in a Warming Arctic (UrbTrans).

Petrine Vinje (b. 1980) is a sculptor and installation- artist who recently submitted her PhD project in artistic research at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts - KHiO. Vinje has worked on interdisciplinary projects in exchange with the University of Oslo, and Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage, leading to exhibitions, installations in public space and speculative-aesthetic films. She was the price-winning artist in residence of the Staatsministerium  für Wissenschaft und Kunst in Bayern (2015) and  her work is published as artist-researcher books, such as Anthology: Anatomical Theatre (Uten tittel Forlag),  or her most recent F-U- þ- A- R- K, on her newly established publishing house O. Petrine Vinje is the former chair of the Board of ROM for kunst og arkitektur and now acting as ROM`s guest curator.

Gunhild Mathea Olaussen is an interdisciplinary artist specialized in space and sound. Olaussen holds a PhD in artistic research from the Norwegian Theatre Academy. She is currently Associate Professor at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and curator of education at Galleri F15. She is also member of the board for ROM for kunst og arkitektur, and member of the editorial committee of VIS - Nordic Journal for Artistic Research.

Kjersti Solbakken (b. 1984, Valnesfjord) is currently the Director at Bergen Kunsthall and was appointed as curator for the Lofoten International Art Festival (LIAF) 2024. She is a former director of Kunstnerforbundet, Galleri Format and Fotogalleriet, founder of self organized initiatives in the field of publishing and has curated exhibitions for numerous institutions, spanning from artist run spaces to galleries and museums. Education includes an MA in curatorial practice at the Faculty of Art, Music and Design, UiB and BFA in visual arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo.

Wolfgang Hottner (b. 1987) is Associate Professor for Comparative Literature at UiB. He has previously been a postdoctoral researcher at Freie Universität Berlin and was a visiting researcher in Tokyo, Vienna and Weimar. He holds a PhD in German Literature from Humboldt University and has published on literature form the 18^th century to the present, aesthetics and intellectual history.

Malin Graesse is an art- and design historian and environmental humanities scholar currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Stavanger. She holds a Ph.D. in art history from the University of Oslo where she was also an associated doctoral research fellow at the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities. In addition to her research on environmental art and design she has written and curated exhibitions on textile art, most recently in Guttormagaards arkiv at the Blaker Old Dairy, together with artist Ann Cathrin November Høibo (2023). She has received funding and grants from the Norwegian Arts Council (with artist Annike Flo and biologist Hanna Bjørgaas, 2019), The Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts (2016), and The University of Oslo (2016).

Anna Ulrikke Andersen (b. 1988) is a filmmaker and architectural historian, and associate professor in art history at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. She has previously been postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. She holds a PhD in architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. As a Fellow of the Future Architecture Platform 2021, she was commissioned to curate the exhibition ‘Chronic Conditions: Body and Building’ at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale.

Sara Yazdani (b. 1984) is a Swedish-Iranian art historian and critic. She is an associate professor of art history and theory at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. She has previously been a postdoc in art history at the Humboldt University in Berlin. She has published research articles in Art Journal, Afterimage, Flash Art, Artforum International, Mousse Magazine, Kunstkritikk, Art & Education, Objektiv, and essays in anthologies and exhibition catalogs.

Marie-Alix Isdahl (b. 1988) is a Norwegian-French art researcher and theorist based in London. She is a PhD Fellow in artistic research and theory at the Department of Art, Goldsmiths College (UK). Isdahl has been the founder of SCHLOSS gallery in Oslo, editor of Natt & Dag, journalist in Morgenbladet, and writer for Kunstkritikk.

Anders Rubing (b. 1983) is a Swedish architect and PhD fellow at the University of Bergen. Rubing was educated at Bergen School of Architecture (BAS) and is head teacher and diploma supervisor at the same institution. He writes architectural criticism for Bergens Tidende and curated the Nordic architecture exhibition ‘Jävla kritiker!’

Rubing is Chair of the Board at ROM for kunst og arkitektur.

Nick Walkley is an architectural historian and independent researcher, based in Oslo, with research interests in medieval architecture, cultural heritage dissemination, historical reconstruction and visualisation, and synergies between traditional craft and digital technologies. He received his PhD in 2025 from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO), forming part of Provenance Projected: Architecture Past and Future in the Era of Circularity. He has published work in Kunst og Kultur, Metode and as part of the book Provenance in Architecture: A Dictionary. He is a board member of the Norwegian network for Digital Humanities and Culture (DHKO), and is collaborating with the National Trust of Norway with a project communicating medieval material reuse in Urnes Stave Church.
